I first fell in love with clay as a child. Even then, I discovered something primitive about working with my hands in the mud. It's a fully immersive, tactile experience that forces you to focus, urges you to slow down and find your center in a world that feels incessantly overstimulating. As an adult, I rekindled my relationship with clay in 2018 when I began wheel throwing classes while our family was stationed in California. I keep coming back to the wheel because it calls to me and helps me to calm my racing mind. My passion for clay resulted in piles of pots around me by the time we moved to the Cape... where "GSP" was born as a small store online. My husband coined the name because of his perspective of my free-spirited and adventurous outlook over our 22 years of travel with the military. Wanderlust is a part of me but when we decided to retire to home I was grateful for the opportunity to set some roots, cultivate a long lasting community and to share my passion by offering this space for others to come and create as well.
